Residents see a positive future for the Huntsville Animal Shelter

Residents are showing great support for the Huntsville Animal Shelter and their efforts to reopen. At the Annual General Meeting last night, the board updated members on their plans to reopen the shelter and what’s been happening this past year. Most members were really impressed.

Members also expressed interest in coming to the next board meeting, which is on June 23rd.

The future of the Huntsville Animal Shelter is quite positive. That’s according to Board Chair Peter Reeves, who says yesterday’s meeting was good start.

Local politicians included councillors Karin Terziano, Tim Withey, and John Davis. Mayoral candidate Hugh Mackenzie was also at the meeting. Meantime, there are four new members of the Huntsville Animal Shelter board of directors. Yvonne Chennell says she can’t wait to get started on shelter reopening plans.
