Things are looking good for the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board.
The enrolment numbers are in and a majority of schools have seen an increase in students.
St. Dominic Catholic Secondary School in Bracebridge has a seen a jump of 25 students since last year.
Overall enrolment across the board is up by nearly 300 students and this has created 20 new teaching positions.
The board is attributing these increases to a few things including new housing development and shifting demographics.
