Downtown Huntsville planting for a beautiful 150th celebration in 2017

The town of Huntsville is about to get a little more flowery.

The Downtown Hunstville BIA in partnership with the town will receiving 1,000 tulip bulbs from the Canadian Garden Council and Vesey’s Bulbs of PEI.

It’s all part of the ‘150th Garden Celebrations,’ to commemorate Canada’s sesquicentennial in 2017, and have provided to communities across the country.

A public planting ceremony will also be held to mark the occasion.

It is being held at 1:00pm on Friday, October 21st, in front of the Tom Thomson statue in town hall square.
