Gravenhurst will be recognizing its outstanding residents tonight during a special award ceremony.
The Gravenhurst Spirit Awards will be held at the Opera House and categories will include Outstanding Volunteerism, Outstanding Achievement Beyond the Local Level and Good Samaritan.
Gravenhurst High School grade 12 student Elias Trivett is one of the recipients being recognized for his volunteerism.
The Gravenhurst Lions Sports Hall of Fame inductees will be introduced for the first time tonight as well.
GHS teacher Gillian Humphries is one of these inductees for her accomplishments and contributions in basketball.
The ceremony kicks off at 7:00pm.
