Police cracking down on drug impaired driving in Muskoka

Tougher penalties are coming to Muskoka to make Ontario’s roads safer.
Bracebridge OPP says penalties for drug-impaired driving will be matched with the penalties for drunk drivers.
Police say starting October 2nd, drivers under the influence of drugs will be charged $180, get an immediate licence suspension of three days, and a possible 90-day licence suspension.
The OPP says these are being introduced by the province.
This is part of the government’s economic plan to build Ontario up.
