Muskoka Lawn Bowling Club receives large donation from Rotary Club

The Rotary Club in Bracebridge has reached out to help another local club.
The organization has donated $1,000 to the Muskoka Lawn Bowling Club to help with construction of the new green on Muskoka Highlands Golf Links.
Lawn Bowling Club President Sally Mills says the construction should be completed this week and then the grounds keeper can seed the green.
She says the club is very grateful to the Rotary Club for their donation.
The club received a $150,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to construct the green.
The funds from the Rotary Club will go towards funding for planned fencing, landscaping, seating and lighting.
If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor you can contact the club through its website.
