Town of Bracebridge to hire architect to design new arena/library building
The plan for the design and cost of the new Bracebridge arena may soon start to take shape.
General Committee recommended on Tuesday morning that the contract for the feasibility study and concept design be awarded to MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects.
Council is considering bringing the new arena and library together in one building and the study will brin gthis into account.
The town is expected to pay about $45,000 for the study.
Two councillors and a library board member will be put into a Consultation Committee to provide input on the project to the project consultant.
