Cloudy weather doesn’t dampen spirits as Muskoka residents come together for Terry Fox

A bit of bad weather never stopped anyone in Muskoka from coming together for a good cause.
This was the case on Sunday morning, when, despite cloudy weather and muddy ground, residents came together across the region to take part in the Terry Fox Run.
Parry Sound Muskoka MPP Norm Miller was at the Bracebridge event at Memorial Park to take part in the opening ceremonies.
Miller says he recently went through his own tragedy involving cancer.
He adds he’s happy to see the amount of involvement from residents across the region.
Many other communities held their own runs as well including Huntsville, Gravenhurst and Windermere.
