Fox found shot to death in Bracebridge

A weekend run turned into a horrific scene for one Bracebridge resident.

According to his post on Facebook, on Sunday morning the resident was jogging down Stephens Bay Road when he found a dead fox on the road.

The man reported in his post that the fox appeared to have been shot in its midsection and posted an accompanying picture showing the same.

According to the post, police and the MNR have been notified about the incident.

Moose FM is currently in contact with both organizations, however no details have been released at this point.
