Bridge replacement on Stephenson Road 1 is being held up due to uncontrollable circumstances.
This from the Town of Bracebridge, as officials say the road closure in that area will remain in place until the end of October.
The contractor working on replacing the bridge was expected to be finished by the end of September.
Officials will release a more specific date closer to the beginning of October.
Work began on the bridge in early July.
