As we enter September, you’re being asked to be careful for turtles on the road.
Turtle expert Brian Ensoll says September and October are the second most active times for turtles to be on the road.
This is because they are preparing to hibernate.
Ensoll says there are three main risks for turtles in the area, one of these being predators.
