Organizers with the TD Summer Reading Club says it was a success.
The summer-long event was held at the library and staff says the number of books read went up 25 per cent from last year. The number of people who signed up also increased to 26 per cent.
The reading club is aimed towards readers of all ages from kindergarten and up.
Four local’s were also drawn to win $100 gift cards to downtown businesses.
