A court date is set for a Bracebridge man after driving his vehicle into a canal in Ramara Township.
Orillia OPP was called to a car crash in Lagoon City on Saturday night. As police arrived, the driver and a passenger were outside the vehicle which was partially underwater in a canal.
The driver, a 26-year-old from Bracebridge was charged with two alcohol-related offenses.
He was held in custody until he was sober. His court date is scheduled on September 13th in Orillia.
