The winner has been announced for the first ever Muskoka Summit on the Environment (MSE) Research Award. Sarah Hasnain is a PhD candidate at Queens University. She’ll receive $7,500 to conduct research on Muskoka’s Watershed including the lakes that have been invaded by the spiny water flea. The MSE Award came together through fundraising efforts of the Summit organizing committee and Friends of the Muskoka Watershed.
