The Town of Bracebridge has officially kicked off its new transit service available to all residents.
On Monday morning, Mayor Graydon Smith and Deputy Mayor Rick Maloney were joined by council and town staff to take the first official ride on the new bus system.
Smith says this has been a long time in the making and he’s happy to finally see it come to life.
The bus service runs on an hourly schedule at various points around the town.
Potential riders are being given an opportunity to ride the bus for free for the first month.
