Organizers are gearing up for the second season of men’s league hockey in Huntsville.
Last year, the Great Northern Hockey League kicked off in town at the Summit Centre for those wishing to play hockey in Huntsville. Heading into its second year, more people have signed up to play. Commissioner Casey Noble says an increase in players means more teams and games.
Noble says the year-end tournament is what makes the league special as all proceeds go towards helping kids play minor hockey.
The last sign up day is tomorrow at 7:00pm inside the Summit Centre.
