An estimated $8,000 in damages has been done to a home due to an electrical fire in the Township of Muskoka Lakes.
Officials say crews from stations in Port Carling and Foots Bay/Glen Orchard were called to the fire on Thursday. As they arrived, heavy smoke and flames were coming from the basement. The fire was quickly extinguished.
Officials believe it was caused by an electrical box.
No one was hurt in the blaze.
