A Huntsville woman is the recipient of a scholarship near and dear to her heart.
Bonnie Greenaway is the first recipient of the Mark’s Ride Scholarship which is given to a student studying law in post-secondary education. Just after Mark passed away last year, family and friends held an event to honour him by cycling through Algonquin Park. The money raised went towards the scholarship.
Greenaway received $1,800 and says she is honoured to receive the scholarship named after someone who she spent a great amount of time with.
She encourages everyone to donate to Mark’s wife Carrie Campbell’s Cancer Crusaders team. The proceeds go to the Princess Margaret Hospital where Mark received a lot of treatment.
