Bracebridge Tragically Hip broadcast brings in nearly $4,000 in donations

Over $3,700 was raised for the Ride to Conquer Cancer during the broadcast of the Tragically Hip concert in Bracebridge.
Stephaine Rayner says nearly 1,500 people packed Annie Williams Park for the event and many of them were emptying their pockets for the cancer fundraiser.
She says there was a lot of emotion during the band’s last concert that was broadcast live from Kingston.
Ride to Conquer Cancer raises money for the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto.
Rayner and her crew will be taking part in Ride to Conquer Cancer next June and you are invited to take part.
If you’re interested in joining next year, you can head to the Muskoka group website to save $50 on registration.
