Muskoka residents proud of Canada’s performance in Rio

Canadian athletes are coming home from Rio with 22 medals, placing 10th overall, following two weeks of hardcore competitions.
Of those athletes the majority were from Ontario with 15 medals won by our province’s athletes.
Moose FM went to the streets to find out how Muskokans feel about our performance in Rio this year.
Ontario athletes pulled in four gold, two silver and nine bronze medals this year.
Sixteen-year-old Penny Oleksiak of Toronto won four of those medals and broke a Junior World Record in the Women’s 100m Freestyle swim.
