The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department received a generous donation towards their fundraising efforts. Firefighters are running at this Band on the Run next week and raising money for the Huntsville Hospital Foundation. Resident Bob Bulloch handed a $2,000 cheque at Fitt Gym Tuesday morning, which puts the current total at just over $4,000. Fire Chief Steve Hernen says Bulloch is a long time supporter of the fire department and is grateful for his support. For every $1,000 the department raises, the firefighters have to add an extra kilometre to their run. This year’s goal is to run 10k. Go to the Band on the Run Charity Page to donate.
