A Muskoka man found guilty of fraud has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
Nick Smirnow was arrested in December of 2014 for a Ponzi scheme that ran under his online Pathway to Prosperity.
Authorities in Ontario and the United States were both investigating Smirnow for defrauding investors out of about $70 million dollars at the time of his arrest.
He will spend about four and a half years in prison due to time already served.
