The Muskoka Fire Danger rating has dropped from Extreme to High.
This announcement comes after the weekend rainfall and the cooler temperatures across the region. Officials say extreme caution must be taken with all open flames. Small fires are permitted in most rural areas of Muskoka. The no daytime burning rule remains in effect.
