The Town of Gravenhurst is offering you a chance to make your mark in the community.
The Gravenhurst Fire Department has put out the call for new volunteer firefighters to fill 10 positions at stations in Kilworthy and Ryde.
Fire Chief Larry Brassard says they are always looking for any new volunteer firefighters to add to the ranks to expand the roster in town as well.
He says the majority of the fire department is made up of volunteer firefighters that are looking to help their community and gain experience.
Training runs throughout the year, and if you are interested in learning more about volunteering you can stop by any of the stations when they are open.
