Environment Canada Calling for a Warm Month of August in Muskoka

Environment Canada is predicting a warm month of August.

This past week the region has seen temperatures well above 35 degrees. Tomorrow, temperatures are expected to drop into the mid-20’s and continue through the weekend.

Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says the warm weather will stay, but we won’t see much humidity.

He says the average temperature at this time of year is normally 24 degrees and believes we will be above that heading into September.
