A possible bylaw amendment may be a positive one for many Bracebridge residents.
While it hasn’t been formally discussed, Bracebridge Council is expected to be presented with a bylaw amendment for allowing laying hens on urban properties.
Speaking to the Moose, many residents seem to be very supportive of this possible amendment.
Town of Bracebridge Staff have mentioned the current amendment to be discussed would allow up to 10 hens on a property no less than one acre.
Bracebridge staff says if the resolution is passed by council during its meeting next Wednesday, it will be added to the Zoning By-Law review.
