Muskoka Lakes Fire Department needed the help of three stations to put out a brush fire that was burning out of control on Windsor Drive.
Fire officials say they were alerted to the fire around 2:00pm and when they arrived on scene the brush fire had taken over a nearby cottage.
Officials were able to contain the fire to the building.
There was no one in the cottage when the fire broke out and no injuries are reported from the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and officials say there is no word on the cost of damages at this point.
