Environment Canada has released a severe thunderstorm watch for Parry Sound and Muskoka.
Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Port Carling, Port Severn, Huntsville, Baysville and Rosseau could all see some heavy rain, strong winds and possible hail this afternoon.
Officials warn, if you see severe weather approaching, get inside as soon as possible.
A heat warning remains in effect as well and is expected to carry over to Saturday.
