Heatwave to cook Southern Muskoka before the weekend

Environment Canada is expecting some extremely hot temperatures in Southern Muskoka over the next few days.
A heat warning will be in effect starting this morning and moving into Friday affecting areas like Bracebridge, Gravenhurst and Port Carling.
Regular temperatures will be in the high 20s to low 30s and the humidity will push that up to nearly 40 degrees.
We will see some reprieve from the heat with rain expected to hit the region by Friday afternoon.
During this heat wave, residents should stay indoors or at least in a cool area.
