Officials with the District of Muskoka are reporting a temporary emergency road closure on Doe Lake Road in Bracebridge.
This is due to a piece of machinery that has broken down on this portion of road and is now blocking both directions.
District officials expect repairs to drag well into the evening and so this road will be closed for the rest of the day.
There is a detour set up on Seehaver Road.
