During a meeting at McVittie Place in Bracebridge, Board Chair Bob Morton commented on the newly created Muskoka and Area Health System Transformation council. Morton says this new council provides an opportunity for Muskoka to let the LHIN know exactly what is needed in terms of healthcare services in the area. //www.mymuskokanow.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/MAHST-announcement-clip-1.wav During the meeting other local officials had an opportunity to comment on this new council. Bracebrige Mayor Graydon Smith and Huntsville Mayor Scott Aitchison, who have both had strong ties to healthcare reform in Muskoka in the past, both gave their approval on this new idea.
