A RIDE check in Midland has led to an impaired driving charge being laid against a 62-year-old man.
The Southern Georgian Bay OPP says the Midland man was stopped at the checkpoint at Brunelle Side Road and Fuller Avenue last Friday afternoon.
Police found the man had been drinking and driving after conducting a roadside alcohol test.
He was arrested, and charged with driving above the legal alcohol limit.
He is scheduled to appear in Midland Court in August.
