Parry Sound fire officials have moved the Fire Danger Rating down to Moderate moving into the long weekend.
This means regular burning permits will be reinstated and evening fires are allowed.
Fireworks are also allowed, however you should check with your local municipality to ensure there are no local bans or permits required.
The Forest Fire Danger Rating in Muskoka is set to Moderate as well.
