The final touches will be made on the installation of a Mobi Mat at Kirby’s Beach today.
Bracebridge Rotary Club helped with the purchase of the mat that allows a safe path across the sand for residents walking, using a wheelchair or a stroller.
Mayor Graydon Smith and other officials with the Town of Bracebridge will be at the beach at 11:00am to make a few comments about the new mat.
The mat is portable and can be rolled up for storage.
