Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare is putting out the call for volunteers.
The organization is looking for new directors for the main board or for community members to fill many of the standing committees including Audit, Governance and Quality and Patient Safety.
Anyone interested in applying must be a registered resident in Muskoka or East Parry Sound, or at least be employed in these areas.
Board directors would be expected to spend at least 20 hours per month on various events, meetings and other needs.
Standing committee members would need to commit three to five hours a month for a year.
The deadline for all applications is August 15th at 4:00pm.
There will be an information session held on August 4th for anyone interested in learning more about these positions.
