The Town of Bracebridge has made cooling centres available during the current warm conditions.
Town officials say these facilities are air conditioned for people to cool down during a hot spell. The facilities offered are the municipal office, the Bracebridge Public Library and the Sportsplex.
Officials say spending just a few hours in a cooled environment can bring down the body’s core temperature.
