The District of Muskoka has approved a bylaw to change the speed on a portion of the main road in Dorset.
A large portion of the main street speed limit will be pushed down to 40 km/hr.
In this section, the portion of road from the Dorset bridge to the top of the hill will be changed to 20 km/hr.
This section will also be designated as a Community Safety Zone.
District of Muskoka officials are expected to change the speed signs in the community this week.
