Police say more hours patrolling the roads in Lake of Bays have brought down crime in the area.
During the regular council meeting, Huntsville OPP’s Staff Sergeant John-Paul Graham explained the number of service calls and occurrences in the township.
From April to June, police received just over 300 calls for service.
The calls included traffic violations and property crimes.
Police say the number of break-ins are down due to the increased hours in the township.
