The Love Your Lakes watershed program is continuing for a fourth year in Muskoka.
This year two students have been hired with assistance from Service Canada’s Canada Summer Jobs Program and the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
Laura Carlton is a local high school student and Brandon Scott is a cottager on Acton Island.
The two are working together to collect samples and data about the shoreline along Three Mile Lake.
The Love Your Lakes Program in Muskoka is run in partnership between the Muskoka Watershed Council and the District of Muskoka.
