Georgian College students build wooden bench for Carter’s Rescue

Officials with Carter’s Rescue are giving thanks to a group of ladies from Georgian College.

Students from the Muskoka campus carpentry class came together to build a special wooden bench for visitors and dogs at Carter’s.

The bench was handed off to the shelter on Friday.

Carter’s Rescue was also the beneficiary of a fundraiser held on Saturday at the Bracebridge Fairgrounds.
