A local CrossFit athlete is headed to California for a week-long competition.
Huntsville resident, Victoria McDonald will be competing in the 55-59 Masters Women category at the Reebok CrossFit Games.
The 56-year-old will head there this weekend and will begin the competition next week through six stages of CrossFit exercises.
McDonald has been doing CrossFit for the last six years, she is currently training with CrossFit Hatchet.
