Bracebridge OPPĀ responded quickly when an elderly man went missing from his home on Bonnie Lake Road.
The 78-year-old wandered away Tuesday morning.
His family became very concerned about his whereabouts due to fact that he suffers from dementia.
Police wasted no time in sending out a helicopter and Canine Unit in order to help locate the missing man.
Just before noon, police spotted the man in the bush a short distance from his home.
A police ATV was dispatched and they were able to return the man to his family safe and sound.
