The Town of Huntsville may have found a solution to the parking issues in the downtown core.
During a public meeting, council members heard from residents on what has caused some of the congestion for parking downtown. Councillor Bob Stone believes the main issue is the employees of most businesses parking in River Mill Park and behind the RBC Bank.
He says the BIA will be going around to businesses, getting employees to park in different sections of town. There is also the possibility of the BIA asking for employee license plates to monitor congested areas.
