With a possible postal strike or lockout on the horizon, Gravenhurst officials want everyone to be aware of when your taxes are due.
The final bills were all mailed out by June 27th, according to town officials, and the due date is August 31st.
If you are mailing a cheque the town office will go by the post date on the envelope.
However, if there is a disruption in postal service, town officials are asking you make alternative arrangements to pay your bill.
This can be done at the town directly or you can drop a cheque off after hours at the 24-hour municipal drop box.
Bills can also be paid through online banking or your bank’s ATM.
