New York is the next stop for a judo athlete from Huntsville.
Next week, Jeff Allen will head to the Big Apple to compete in the New York International Cup. He is expected to compete against several elite judo specialists, which will prepare him for the World Championship tournament in November.
Allen has won several gold, silver and bronze medals since 2013, most notably winning the 2015 Canadian Masters Heavyweight title.
