Displaced Nipissing students invited to finish academic studies at St. Dom’s

Nipissing University students left without a campus following the closure of the Bracebridge building will still have a place to complete their studies in town.

From September to December, the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School board has agreed to let students use class space at St. Dom’s in Bracebridge.

College students will be welcome to use these spaces following the end of the school day for the high school students.

In February, Nipissing officials announced they would be closing the Muskoka campus earlier than expected.

The campus officially shuts down on Thursday.

Students were promised their academics would not be affected by this closure.

Nipissing officials are thankful to St. Dom’s for opening its doors and are confident students will be served well by the space.
