Police warn driver to watch for wildlife on roads and highways

Almaguin Highlands OPP want drivers to keep an eye out for wildlife on area roads and highways.  Officers are currently investigating a number of car versus deer collision.  Police ask motorists to use extra caution while driving at dusk or dawn as that’s when deer are most active and visibility is poor and deer often travel in groups so if you see one, expect more.  OPP also say if you see a deer standing on the side of the road, slow down as the animal could change direction at the last minute.
