The Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for round two of SantaFest in town.
Following the breakout success of the event last year, the chamber and the Bracebridge BIA are preparing for just as much attention as last year.
Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce Brenda Rhodes says she believes a lot of the success was based on the wide variety of family events.
Rhodes says this year they are mixing old and new events including a pancake breakfast, Santa’s Workshop where kids can make birdhouses and fun inflatables.
Of course no event is complete without volunteers and Rhodes says they are still looking for quite a few.
The event last year saw over 3,000 visitors to the downtown area.
SantaFest kicks off on July 9th at 10:00am with the parade starting at 11:00am on Manitoba Street.
