The Town of Huntsville will lease the washroom facilities inside the former Chamber of Commerce building.
The announcement came during the town council meeting last night. CAO Denise Corry provided staff with a one-year lease agreement with Coldwell Banker to have the facilities available to the public.
For the last month, the washrooms at 8 West Street North were available to the public at no cost to the town as negotiations continued.
The lease will begin as of July 1st. Staff will look into updating signage around River Mill Park directing people to the washrooms.
