The new principal at the Muskoka Campus of Georgian College will have a primary focus on healthcare and carpentry courses.
Mac Greaves has been announced as the principal for both the Midland and Muskoka campus moving forward.
Greaves says healthcare is one of the most in demand careers in the province and he plans on putting a lot of focus into the pre-health sciences and registered practical nursing programs already offered at the college.
Greaves adds he’s interested in taking advantage of the carpentry shop in Muskoka and market the campus as destination for carpentry students in and outside of Canada.
Finally he says he is looking forward to working closely with the Town of Bracebridge to make sure students have plenty of housing available.
